Traditional Lecture (Indianapolis)
========================================

The Indianapolis sections follow the traditional face-to-face lecture format on the
Indianapolis campus. Lectures are recorded and available in the **Kaltura Media Gallery** on
Brightspace as a backup, but recordings do not substitute for attendance — to earn attendance
credit you must attend class in person.

**Participation (8%)**

- *Student profile* (0.5%): submit your student profile by the due date.
- *Attendance* (7.5%): attend at least 80% of classes, recorded using **iClicker Cloud**.
  Attendance is taken at the beginning of each class. Bring a smartphone or laptop to class
  for attendance.

**Homework and computer assignments (24%)**

Delivered through Edfinity, typically due **Tuesday before midnight**. Homework problems are
automatically graded with multiple attempts allowed. Computer assignments use a provided data
set and require R code, graphs, and written interpretation; they are hand-graded by TAs,
normally by the Sunday after the deadline. The lowest score is dropped. Late work is accepted
within 48 hours at a 20% penalty.

**Exams (68%)**

Two evening midterms (20% each) and a comprehensive final (28%), taken in person on the
Indianapolis campus — room assignments are posted in Brightspace. One class day is cancelled
to compensate for the evening exams: **Tuesday, November 24** (marked on the schedule above).

**Accommodated testing (Indianapolis).** If your DRC accommodations include test
accommodations, release your Course Accommodation Letter to your instructor and schedule each
exam through your **DRC Student Portal** at least **two business days** before the exam date.
